Open for Business!

Well outside of the home improvement projects, the child rearing and full time job that keeps me pretty busy these days...I've decided to start a side business venture, as if I have alot of spare time to spare! A couple of things led me to do this.
  • First reason: A few years ago I created a little scrapbook for a manager at Sun and she has been asking to pay me for another one ever since. See the "Children" Album.
  • Second reason: A couple of months ago, I needed to create a scrapbook for another person at Sun but our move back to Arizona and my trip to Washington really put me in a time crunch to get it done and I learned that I really can put a nice quality scrapbook together in 5 nights. See the 'Appreciation' Album.
  • Third reason: I could really use some extra dough!
Now that we are settled in and for all the reasons I've stated above, I've decided to offer my scrapbooking services! So basically, this post is my shameless plug for myself, here it is:
If you or anyone you know is interested in a customized scrapbook, please send them my website. (I used the same blog template because it was simple for me to put together and why change something that works?!) Click here to see SpareTime Scrapbooks and let me know what you think!
Since this post was really just my elaborate marketing plan, I do realize it isn't as fun as seeing pictures or videos of the Hull's so I'll check back in later this week. Teaser...Nathan will be wearing a Lion costume this Friday!

Just for Fun...

This is just a shout out to everyone because you may have noticed I haven't been posting as frequently to the blog. Although we are pretty much settled in the house, we are now in the trenches with little house projects that seem to occupy every minute of our spare time in addition to the little guy who is relentless in demanding attention for himself...which I tolerate because he's so darned cute! :)

Anyway, I came across this video and couldn't help but have some fun and post it. I would like to title this video "How NOT to Impress a Woman".

I'm Done.

For the most part, I'm done setting this house up. There are a few things here and there still to do but for the most part, I'm done. It took longer than I'm used to but I still think I'm ahead of the game as far as how long the average person takes to get squared away in a new house. I will admit though that we do have this one extra room that I've just been tossing things into that I don't have a plan for right now.

Here's some pictures of the main rooms in the house. I used a wide angle lens on the camera which creates these shadows in the corners of each picture, I'm not sure why that is, I need to ask my Professional Photographer friend, Steve Horvath located in Murphy, Texas. (shameless plug)

The family room from two different angles...

The formal living room...yes, there is furniture missing! We got rid of the piano and the living room tables before left Texas. And I haven't figured out where to put the antique Singer sewing machine yet...

Nathan's Room...

The master bedroom...

The Kitchen...

The Dining Room...yep, we sold that furniture to!

The loft which is our office space...ironically, this is the room that took the very longest to get set up!

Greg's side...

My side...

Craft room/Guest room. I still need to move the sleeper sofa and then it will be ready for guests...I'll let you know when that is. ;)

Greg's music room...downstairs...he's ecstatic about this fine little detail.

That extra bedroom that I'm throwing things into! See if the rest of the house looked like this for any extended period of time, they would have to put me in a straight jacket! I could not handle it. And truth be known, this room will probably be 'fixed' over the weekend. I'm so OCD, I don't even need a professional diagnosis to know it!
