Truth be Known

This picture made me laugh.
I needed a laugh.

I've been down.  depressed.

To many relational conflicts, unresolved. 
To many relational disappointments, unspoken.
To many relational rejections, unnoticed.

I mask the sadness.
It's what everyone does.
And when I can't sleep at 3am,
the tears fall.

Greg and Nathan are the only bright spots
in the bleakest of days lately. 
It's why I like this picture.

Just 4 Resolutions for 2011

Instead of resolving to get fit, eat healthier, blah-blah-blah, I resolve to be a better person this year. 

I think my chances are better with these resolutions because God only knows when I'll ever exercise again!

Family Pictures

I withheld showing our 2010 family pictures until after Christmas, since I made calendars for parents/granparents as Christmas gifts.  Here are some of my very favorites.  I feel so lucky that my dear friend, Lynn, agreed to take pictures for us, cause she's got skills.  As you will see, she totally rocked the camera!!!

Our New Years Day was in two parts.  First, our brunch.  Second, the Fiesta Bowl game.  Pictures from both follow.
