Welcome back to me! After a long hiatus from scrapbooking because of ongoing system and/or software issues, I have finally been able to start scrapbooking again.  Just sharing some of the layouts I've recently created....

Starting Preschool

A brief recap of Nathan's first week of preschool...

 Lunch - a small task, yet significant. I have some school lunch memories that haunt me to this day, so alot of  thought was put into this.

At our learning center getting ready for our first day of school.

With his school backpack, which seems to be half his size.

Day 1 Drop Off:  We were 15 minutes to early.  While we waited for class to start there was an altercation on the playground.  Nathan was rather ugly (read yelling & pushing) a little boy. We immediately had a talk and he was asked to apologize.  Grade: B, Needs Improvement.

Day 2 Drop Off:  We arrived just minutes before class started.  Suddenly Nathan turned into me and said "I- no-want-go-school.  I-scared."  Then it was time for his class to line up.  Weeping and gnashing of teeth ensued.  Nathan's teacher, Ms. Anne picked him up and carried him while her class lined up and followed her. Grade: C-, Work in Progess.

Day 3 Drop Off: We arrived at a perfect time (not early, not late), giving Nathan and I a little time on the playground.  When it was time to line up, Nathan put on his own backpack, got in line and followed his classmates. Grade: A+, Excellent.

Nathan's last day of daycare - he starts preschool full-time on Monday.

I will truly miss Ms. Keri, who was absolutely exceptional at what she did.

Ms. Keri, you are a complete professional, I wish you the best and will truly miss you!

Ms. Jessie, thank you loving on Nathan, giving him hugs, kisses and being so sensitive to his needs.

You will truly be missed as well!

Rain, Rain, Stay!

It rained.  It was bliss.  It was short lived. It only lasted 5 minutes. :o(

Mis-matched Crafts

We made some crafts after dinner.  Nathan cut and glue the feathers for his headband and I helped cut the giraffe body while he glued the straps in place.  Neither item goes with the other.  hahaha!  I should still get credit just for trying to do crafts with my kid though!

Mom, my grapes are juicy.
